SimpleTire, a Philadelphia-based online tire retailer, has been named a 2020 “Top Workplace” by the Philadelphia Inquirer. Companies were selected for the honor based solely on the results of an employee survey administered by an independent research firm.
“We’re thrilled to receive this recognition from the Inquirer as one of the best places to work in the Philadelphia area,” said SimpleTire CEO, Andy Chalofsky. “Our goal at SimpleTire is to offer online shoppers the largest selection of tires and a simple buying experience. We’re achieving that goal with a great team of people who are here because of the work environment, culture, competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth.”
Last fall, SimpleTire was named among the best places to work in the tire industry by Tire Business magazine. In 2018 and 2019, the company was named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in America. It has also been featured recently in Forbes and other business publications for its innovative retail concepts and rapid growth.
“We truly appreciate the recognition we’re getting because we’ve worked hard to create a culture that has enabled us to build a successful, industry-changing business in just 8 years,” said Chalofsky. “We’ve added over 60 talented people to the organization in 2019 and have set some aggressive goals for ourselves for 2020, so we’re looking to add another 50 talented people in IT, sales, marketing, HR, logistics and other areas to help us achieve those goals.”
