I have only put 10000 miles on these and the part of the tread has separated from the outer ring of lugs. It has caused a very rough ride and will be getting ahold of customer service to resolve the issue. Up until now it has been a pretty decent tire at a vey reasonable price.

If you’ve got a truck or SUV that’s 4WD equipped (with the ground clearance to go with it) and you like to get off-road into thick, soupy mud or on rock-crawling expeditions, you probably already know that a lot of all-terrain tires just aren’t going to be able to dependably get the job done for you. You need a set of mud tires that can not only give you the traction you need to get through messy terrain and soft surfaces but that will be matched to your truck’s weight, power, and torque.
The Vizzoni Mudz MT is an excellent choice in a mud-terrain tire for trucks. It’s tough and resilient for rough terrain and rough treatment, with an aggressive off-road tread that you can count on to get you where you’re going and back again. But don’t just take our word for it – let’s go in for a closer look with the Vizzoni Mudz MT review:
Features and Benefits
Here are just a few of the features that make the Vizzoni Mudz MT a standout performer and great value among mud-terrain tires:
- Heavy-duty rubber compound
- 10-ply rated for enhanced load capacity
- Reinforced tread and sidewall resists cuts, punctures, abrasions
- Aggressive, high-void lug tread with 8/32” tread depth
- Deep, high-void grooves eject mud, snow, dirt, and debris so there’s always a clear section of the tire to dig in as the wheel turns
- Open lugs at the shoulder with wide notches to enhance lateral grip for cornering, ruts
- Wide grooves evacuate water from the tire’s contact patch to reduce the risk of hydroplaning
- Redesigned, optimized footprint puts more rubber in contact with the road for shorter braking distances, even wear and weight distribution
Pros and Cons
So, is this Vizzoni tire the right choice for your ride and budget? Before you decide, let’s take a look at the tire’s pros and cons:
PROS:
- Unbeatable traction in rough conditions
- Durable construction
- Suitable for aired-down rock crawling
CONS:
- Noisy
- No mileage warranty from the manufacturer
- The tire is not Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified for use in moderate to severe winter service
SimpleTire’s view on Vizzoni Mudz MT tires
If you’re in the market for a mud-terrain tire for a truck, Jeep, or SUV, you probably know what you’re looking for already. You need a purpose-built tire for that kind of use, one that will dependably get you through the stickiest or soupiest gravy-like mud without just sinking in and leaving you stuck up to the axles.
The Vizzoni Mudz MT is tough and tenacious in the roughest conditions. Its 10-ply rating, reinforced construction, and heavy-duty tread compound all give you the resistance to damage from roots, rocks, and obstacles that you’ll ever need. The aggressive lug tread, with its notches at the shoulders and wraparound lugs down onto the sidewall, is designed to claw through mud, dirt, and snow, and the deep, wide grooves between lugs efficiently throw dirt and debris out of the tread as the wheel turns. In other words, this is a mud-terrain tire that gives you the confidence and peace of mind you need to get through the roughest off-road use. That reinforced sidewall and bead also make this tire a great candidate for aired-down use, with the tread easily conforming around irregular surfaces. The fat, square contact patch also means road manners, handling, and braking performance on the street that are consistent and predictable, if not exactly nimble.
Yes, the Vizzoni Mudz MT is a little noisy on the pavement, and no, it doesn’t come with a manufacturer’s treadwear warranty – this isn’t surprising for a purpose-built mud-terrain tire. And while the Mudz MT isn’t Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified for severe winter service, its robust lug tread should be perfectly capable of all the traction you need to get through heavy snow, slush, muck, and mud. All in all, the Mudz MT is a great value in a mud-terrain tire for light trucks, offering impressive performance while coming in at a price that won’t blow a hole in your checking account. SimpleTire’s SimpleScore system did the calculations and arrived at ratings of 7.2 for longevity, 7.9 for handling, and 7.5 for traction with this tire.

Hardly any road noise, good on hard pavement and off road. Just installed so I don't know about winter.
