First time ordering from this distributor. 3rd set of these tires in 283k miles. Best all around performance I've ever seen for the price. Once I found this brand I have never found a reason to switch back. Better than the Cooper and General Grabbers.
Great ride. Love tread depth and pattern.
This is the second time I have put these tires on my Jeep Liberty and I love them!! Great handling on dry, wet, or deep snow. Very smooth ride with no noise. Lasted around 50,000 ++ miles.
We have a old set if these still on tahoe with almost 75 k on them thats why we bought another set ! Great tire
I have driven 16,000 miles on these HT Tires with my 2018 Forester XT in size 235 55 18. I am not impressed in wet road conditions..these tires seem to lose traction and the front end washes in corners and my Forester is AWD. I also feel the sidewalls are not stiff enough for driving through corners. I will praise the tire for no hydroplaning in severe rain conditions. I have had these tires in the snow and they do fair.
Okay tire overall. Not extremely impressive for my use, but I'm at about 53,000 and the sidewalls are breaking down. I live in Central Wisconsin where we get quite varied driving conditions from heavy snow to torrential rain, to 100 degree heat. I drive around 9,600 miles a month in a 2012 Dodge Caravan (I run a daily route). I bought a pair to match the new pair that were on the van when I purchased it. The tires are fine for dry roads, but they break loose quite easily on wet roads. I run winter tires for the bad weather, but these tires have seen some snow service, and again, while they did not have very impressive grip, they do track well in the snow. They resist hydroplaning quite well. For an average driver, this would probably be a pretty good tire.
Bought the tires for 3 season use on a 2wd Sierra. Wanted quiet tires. Wanted excellent handling at higher speeds . Toyo HT met all requirements in very good form. I will buy again
Very good tire. Second set on pathfinder and love them.
I recently installed the Toyo Open Country tires on my 2006 E450 motorhome. We have only driven one short trip of 300 miles since them so the tires are still being " broken-in ". There was some initial noticeable wheel hop and thumping that soon went away. The original equipment Michelin tires that came with the RV only had 17,000 miles on them and were replaced primarily out of concerns over the age of the tires. They did have some noticeable sidewall checking, but that is all. The Toyos seem to perform just as well on dry pavement but they did produce a rougher ride than the Michelins. I feel that after they have been thoroughly broken in after 1000 miles, they should ride more smoothly with less noise.
