This is the 2nd set of Samson GL285T's that we put on our 35 ft 5th Wheel Trailer. It came from the factory with 10-ply tires which lasted almost 5 years (previous owner). On our first big trip they started to fail and we were advised to upgrade to 14-ply tires for our 15,000 lb rig. That was some of the best RV advice we'd ever gotten. There is no comparison of these 14-ply tires and the old 10-ply. I'll never go back. The Samsons wear well, are rock solid and we have had no problems with them at all after 6 years and about 10,000 miles. We only replaced them due to age, I'm not taking any more chances. Tire pressure monitors provide nice peace of mind also.

Great RV 5th wheel tire. I know there are some good tires out there but this is a great tire for less $$
I bought these G load tires as trailer tires, and they are fantastic. Handle loads well. Wear well. Don't blow like the passenger style China bombs. I have over 10,000 miles on these and they are just starting to show some inside wear. I will definitely buy these again when it is time to replace. I expect to get 100k out of these. I am a commercial transporter pulling a 48' gooseneck enclosed trailer. Hands down improvement in reliability and no trailer sway as with the previous tires. Unload the trailer heavy, and these don't complain any.
Order the tires received them within a few days. The customer service rep that I ordered them from was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Was very happy with the looks of the tires. I purchased five for my horse trailer. Fist trip was a 700 mile run and I had no issues with them. Tires that I replaced on trailer were 10 plys the Samsons are 14 ply. The trailer pulled nice and it had less bounce. Very happy with the new tires. The price at Simple Tire was outstanding. Have told a lot of friends with trailers about the tires and the great price and service at Simple Tire.
Best tires for trailer that I used.
For concrete business. Heavy hauling. Load bearing. 1 less thing to worry about.
They truly seem great. I kept having blowouts on my 5th wheel with other tires. I believe that these are the answer.
I put these on my 40' gooseneck trailer to haul oilfield equipment. They are holding up great so far. I have about 35,000 miles on them as of now and the tread still looks new.
Love these tires. They are SUPER heavy duty. (So much so that we often have a problem with regular passenger tire installation centers installing them on our 5th wheel RV)
