I purchased these a year ago for my '13 Xterra Pro4?--. They were practically unknown in the US at the time, but doing much research and I found out they were intended to compete with the 'industry leader' AKA KO2s. I previously had KO2s on my Colorado and at the very beginning the Pirellis were superior to the KO2s. Then winter proved even more superior. Then off road mud even more superior. Then off road going up a steep undeveloped logging trail testing to fail, they carried me to the top as if I were just pulling up a paved driveway. These tires have yet to fail. I went with the E rated for hopefully a stronger sidewall and so far no punctures and snow driving was essentially robbed of the natural fun and required manufactured fun, but even then I felt confident throughout maneuvers. Now looking at putting these on a Highlander hybrid.

They look really really good, they are reliable too! After about 20K I noticed some cuts and chips, but they're still performing great. I'd buy them again! However, I'd love to test the smooth Pirelli All Season +3 for my new work location
The look really really good, they are reliable too!
I call them my KO2 Killers! Equal in off road dry performance, better in mud and much, much more supple and confident on the road. I am very happy with these pseudo-unknown ATs on my X. I have been looking at MT tires, went 4x4 recently and came back not really wanting MTs, anymore. We have very sandy mud, here. Not tested on clay or such loam.
These tires have been great so far. I drove them threw an ice storm, snow storm, and rain so far since putting them on this winter and I can say I didn't slip slide or spin. They have been great so far. I can feel them grabbing the road when going around a sharpe turn in the road.
This is the third set of Scorpions I've owned and I won't buy anything else, especially here where it snows a lot and these have traction as good as any snow tire without the soft compounds and fast wear.
only 4000 miles on them, working well in rain, dry and snow, noise is fine, cant say on wear yet 315/70r17 on my f350 dual rear wheel drive snow plow truck, 10k highway per year
I drive a dodge ram 2500 with a cummins diesel engine. The motor and trans are not in stock form. The pirelli's do great with the abuse I give them. The pretty much get all types of situations thrown at them.
I did a lot of research on these tires for my 2012 suburban. I wanted aggressive tread for the winters in Wisconsin and pulling my boat in and out of the slip, but I did not want the noise that came with the BFG's on my 3/4 ton pickup. The suburban is my wife's truck and our long distance cruiser. These tires hit the mark all the way around. Noise was my biggest concern and these tires are very quite despite having fantastic tread pattern for aggressive driving. I took a chance as they are not popular in my area, but I am very pleased with my decision. My only negative is I am not a fan of the side wall tread visibility...since it is on my nice truck I like a cleaner look. I know it has a purpose in the mud and snow, but as a trade off I think it looks nicer on without it on a nicer vehicle like my suburban.
Excellent all around tire much better then the tires they replaced. They are nice and quiet and rip well in the rain and snow. I would buy these again
