The tire is good for a short or long journeys. I have travelled about 2200 miles road trip on a the same tire that had less threads and it worked just fine.

10 SimpleTire reviews
Tires are great.
We had three blowouts (two sidewalls - one tread cap separation) with these tires in 6 months/5000 miles.
I like these tires. I put them on all my cars. run flat system saves in all situations as on a highway and in a long trip. tires are more rigid, holds the road cool!
Customer service with Simpletire was exceptional even with the pandemic going on. They got back to me same day and everything was handled pro status
Definitely the right tires for my MINI. Much quieter than the previous ones (Lower grade pirellis) Very competitive price
I ordered these tires online, they fit on my 2012 mazda miata. The tires have performed very well so far in rain and sun here in south florida.
GREAT tires
These tires are excellent overall very happy with my purchase more then likely Will buy them again.. Very quiet and excellent ride and handling..

Features & Benefits
- Ultra-high-performance tread; should not be used when temperatures are consistently below 45 degrees Fahrenheit
- Black sidewall
- Select sizes feature run-flat design, enabling a driver to go up to 50 miles at speeds less than 50 MPH even after complete loss of inflation pressure
- Next-generation tread compound for superb traction, ride comfort
- Low rolling resistance design lowers rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency
Pirelli designed the Cinturato P7 as their first "Green Performance" tire, striking a balance between environmental concerns (low rolling resistance and enhanced fuel economy) and superb braking and handling performance. The Cinturato P7 is designed with an advanced rubber compound for a mix of traction, ride comfort, low rolling resistance, and low noise. The run-flat design on select sizes of the Cinturato P7 features a reinforced sidewall to support a vehicle's entire weight, enabling a driver to keep going up to 50 miles even after a loss of inflation pressure. The four wide grooves of the Cinturato P7 help to resist hydroplaning, and its compact center block and reinforced shoulders give it excellent cornering ability. The Cinturato P7 is the original equipment tire for a number of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Mini, and Jaguar models.
