I upgraded the trailer tires on my Tracker Pro guide's boat trailer that had C style tires with irregular wear. The Kendalls D are radials and rated for heavier loads and highway miles. I have kept the air at the proper level and keep a close eye on this and they have performed great! Very little if any wear on treads as I have taken this boat back and forth on multiple trips on 5 and 6 hour drive times this summer. I even picked up a small 1/4 inch screw in one of my new tires! However, since the tread was perfect, it seated in the tread and did not puncture beyond it. I would recommend these radials for anyone with a boat and load that is maxing out as these tires have proven a perfect match. Move into the D rating trailer tires and youll be glad you did.

Features and Benefits
Trailer tires are built for use on trailer axles only and are engineered for in-line hauling for longer periods. They are not designed for use on drive axle applications or steering. While many other brands are known for making some good special trailer tires, the Kenda Karrier is also not an underdog and comes with many impressive features that are discussed below:
- Solid durability – The tire features a reinforced double steel belt construction that also utilizes strong full nylon plies for solid durability. The better durability standards of the tire also contribute to increased hauling and load-carrying capacity.
- Long-lasting service life – The robust construction and solid rubber compound also promote longevity and the optimized tread pattern distributes the rolling pressures evenly across the profile for a long-lasting service life.
- Reliable wet and dry traction performance – The Karrier trailer tire is also great when it comes to traction performance and sports a computer-optimized tread design and a new rubber tread compound that provides dependable traction in dry and wet conditions. The four circumferential grooves on the tread evacuate water from the footprint for reduced risk of hydroplaning, offering better traction performance on wet surfaces.
- Improved handling, stability, and rides – The tread pattern of this tire is designed to offer better handling performance when the tire is mounted on trailers. Additionally, the flat profile along with sturdy construction provides more stability to the tire at highway speeds and reduces the risk of trailer swaying. The tread profile has elements and adequate cushioning to facilitate smooth rolling and effortless rides.
- Better head resistance – The Karrier features advanced radial construction that disperses heat very efficiently and prevents unwanted tire damage.
The Kenda Karrier is available in many different sizes that vary between 13- to 16-inch diameter and some of its popular tire sizes include:

SimpleTire’s view on Kenda Karrier tires
The Kenda Karrier is a great choice in the special trailer category and comes with many great capabilities and features. Although, when compared to many of its rivals, the tire is slightly expensive, but that extra price that you spend to own it is worth the money. It is more durable than its competitors and comes with better hauling and load-carrying capabilities. The traction performance of this tire in wet and dry conditions is impressive and it also has a good tread life so that you do not have to worry about tire replacement anytime sooner. The availability of the tire in multiple sizes is another great highlight as it is compatible with a lot of other special trailers on the market. The tire offers a worry-free highway driving experience because it exceeds the DOT requirements. But, there’s a lack of tread life warranty, which may or may not disappoint you and it is also to be noted that the Karrier ST tire is not designed for use on thick ice or snow in extreme winter weather conditions.
The Kenda Karrier competes against the following special trailer tires on the market:

I have used these tires on several trailers I have from camper to to car trailer. The 10ply 15" are awesome. On my car trailer. I have hauled cars at over 80 and they can handle the load. The 14" on my camper are just as good. With the same speeds no trouble. With out running hot on either one in the summer time. The wear pattern is a good wear without any dipping or cupping.
10,000 miles and still looking new
6000 miles in 3 months, no issues no problems.
Good looking tire but still new. Delivered very quickly. Would buy again.
I have run these on a pop up camper, 6000lb tandem axle camper, and 3000lb single axle cargo trailer for the past 17 years. Of course have had to replace about every 5 years. Have at least 150,000 combined miles on them. Have never had any problems, ever. Bought a new 9000lb camper with different brand tire. Had a blowout after about 500 miles. Swapped them out for Kendas. No problems since. If you need a good trailer tire, this is it.
