  • Fuzion Touring

Fuzion is a part of the Bridgestone family and is known for its reliability, performance, and affordability. The tire brand currently offers all-season, all-terrain, UHP all-season, mud-terrain, and touring tires in the American tire market for use on various vehicle types including passenger cars, light trucks, CUVs, SUVs, and trailers.

The Fuzion Touring is an all-season touring tire that’s designed for use on sedans, coupes, minivans, CUVs, SUVs, and pickup trucks. The tire is optimized for raised touring comfort, solid year-round traction, and great controllability in dry, wet, and light wintry conditions. With an advanced symmetrical tread pattern and a good tread life warranty backing, it comes as a good buy in the price point league of touring tires.

In this Fuzion Touring review, you will get information on the tire’s best features and their corresponding benefits, pros and cons, vehicle compatibility, and our verdict. So, read on and make an informed decision!

    Features and Benefits

    Fuzion Touring

Touring tires are built to offer longer tread life and enhanced comfort as they spend more time on the roads. Long-lasting mileage warranty, and usability in dry, wet, and light winter conditions are also some of the other common attributes of these tires. Likewise is the case with the Fuzion Touring and it doesn’t fail to impress with these great features:

    • Long-lasting tread life – The symmetrical tread design and the solid rubber compound of the Fuzion Touring are engineered to offer a long-lasting tread life. The solid shoulders and flat contact patch of the tire ensure that the tire wears evenly, assuring a longer wear. Additionally, the tire is backed by a 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty that underlines the tire’s extended usability.

    • Dependable year-round performance – The Touring tire from Fuzion is optimized for year-round use, which means whether you drive in shine, rain, or light snow, it will offer you a confident drive. The tire features detailed sipes across the profile that boost traction and grip in wet and light snow conditions. Similarly, the four circumferential grooves on the tire ensure increased water dispersion from the contact patch area for solid wet traction and hydroplaning resistance.

    • Increased braking efficiency and handling performance – While the shoulder edges of the tire adequately bite the surface to establish the much-needed grip for better ride control and seamless manuevering, especially during cornering, the three center ribs contribute to quicker lane changes to provide better handling performance. Similarly, the sipes and sharper edges of the tread blocks allow the tire to stop well in advance as and when required. This offers optimum control to the drivers.

    • Quieter and comfortable rides – All thanks to the Fuzion Touring’s variable tread pitch sequencing, the tire reduces the tread noise levels to offer pleasant rides. Additionally, the compound and tread design of the tire are also optimized to reduce road vibrations.

The Fuzion Touring is available in 14- to 20-inch rim sizes, and this means the tire is compatible with a wider set of vehicles on the market. Here are some of its available sizes:

    Pros and Cons

The Fuzion Touring has some great features but in which areas the tire is strong and where it needs improvements, let’s discuss them in the pros and cons sections below.

    • Offers better handling response than its peers.
    • Assures dependable traction performance in dry, wet, and light snow conditions.
    • Optimized for lower tread noise levels.
    • Absorbs road vibrations better than other similar tires.
    • Backed by an excellent 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
    • Compatible with a larger set of vehicles on the market.

    CONS:

    • Handling performance in snow conditions lags a bit when compared to other premium touring tires.
    • Some competing tires are available at relatively cheaper prices.

SimpleTire’s view on Fuzion Touring tires

    Fuzion Touring

If you are looking for a set of touring, all-season tires that do not put a dent in your wallet and also do not compromise on the performance part, whether it is rain, shine, or mild snow, then the Fuzion Touring could be the best choice for you. With a higher 8.3/10 SimpleScore rating in longevity, the Fuzion Touring ensures that it will last longer than some of its rivals. It also offers solid handling performance in wet and dry conditions and earns a respectable 8.0/10 SimpleScore rating. However, in snow conditions, the handling isn’t as excellent as some of the other premium touring tires on the market.

The tire also ensures an exceptional traction performance in dry, wet, and light snow conditions, and is awarded an 8.0/10 SimpleScore rating in this area. The tire is also engineered for reduced tread noise levels and vibrations to offer comfy rides and is backed by a 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty. The tire is compatible with a larger set of vehicles on the market and is available in 14- to 20-inch rim sizes.

It is to be noted that the tire isn’t suitable for use in winter weather conditions, however, some of its competing tires are available at a slightly lesser price.

I've had these tires on a couple different cars and I'm overall happy with them. And they seem to hold up well. They do not particularly like Florida's heavy pouring rain.. but them again what street tire would lol. I'm not giving a 5 star rating for tread life because I haven't gotten that far yet (just put them on one of 3 cars). But of the 15,000 miles I've put on my grand marquis they have held up very well. Also I don't drive any of my vehicles in the snow as I plow the white stuff during the winter (but they are good for snow donuts in a private parking lot) so I can't give a snow rating.

Inexpensive tire, hoping to get at least 2 good years out of them, road noise is horrible, very loud tire, dry traction is decent, wet traction is average

My car came with four brand new tires but one was vandalized. I was relieved to find an exact match here. Including local installation I saved $40.00 compared to stores my city.

Drove in April from California to Wyoming not a single problem. Even though in Wyoming was still snowing we did not need chains. We felt very safe. Thanks.
