Outstanding performance in winter driving. I've used these for a number of big storms. Snow, slush, snow + ice mixture. On a 4WD vehicle, such as my Jeep, you WILL get to work ( or where ever you need to be ) through plowed or not yet plowed snow covered roads. They aren't cheap, but very well worth the expense if you need to have a ' get through it ' tire like I do.
I just mounted these tires about 2 months ago on my 1995 Ford F-350 4X4 DRW that I use to tow a 31' gooseneck that I haul 11-12 tons hay with. I've loaded out in the field in 4" snow. Their traction is very impressive, can start out with a full load no problem & breaking a path in snow without slippage. A great tire for a reasonable price I highly recommend them !
This is just a really good winter snow tire. Performs very well in snow and ice.
Great winter tire. Excellent traction on a GMC 2500HD.
Have had these for two seasons and about 20K. I ran them last year on my 1996 4runner, and this winter had them on my 2003 Toyota Tacoma. First, the good stuff. These tires grip. I was on the fence about studs, as they're illegal in WI, but enforcement is lax to say the least, and are roads are already rubble and will be for the foreseeable future. I opted not to get the studs, and can't say I regretted it. Even studless, these tires grip on ice amazingly well. In the 235/85r16 "pizza cutter" size, popular with overlanders, they sliced through snowpack to the firm stuff beneath without fail. They also did well in rain and sleet. At 20k or so, I'm still at 14/32"s, so they've worn like iron on the light, nimbleToyotas. That brings me to my next point, and the only real downside. The E-rated tires will make your 1/2 ton ride like a empty dump truck. Too bad, because the E-rated only 235/85r16 size looks perfect on a Toyota.
I have used the winterforce for years. Good reliable snow tire. Great winter traction.
good tire
Best snow tires I have ever tried.
Love these tires!
