Firestone Transforce AT2 225/70R19.5 were placed on my F550 5th wheel hauler. The older ones were Continental tires. These are a much softer ride BUT, they float on the highway, any little grove or ridge in the highway and there tires grab it and pull the front end. I just completed a 5K trip from FL to AZ and I I have to work the steering the entire time. If I had purchased local I would be at the shop asking for a different tire. I would not recommend these for highway driving. :(

If you need an all-terrain tire, you should expect a tire that can deliver peak performance. That means a tire that’s up to the job if you need to plow snow, take rough or muddy backroads, go through sand or deep snow or gravel, or haul heavy loads. All-terrain tires need to be able to handle all that while still offering civilized ride quality, noise level and road manners on the highway, with a decent expectancy of treadwear too.
That’s where the Firestone Transforce AT2 comes in. The Transforce AT2 is a commercial-quality all-terrain tire for light trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs and it can get you through tough situations and difficult terrain without a hitch.
This tire is durable, capable, and versatile, and it could be just the tire you’re looking for. Don’t believe us? Keep reading this Firestone Transforce AT2 review.

Pros and Cons
If you’re looking for real value in an all-terrain tire, the Pros outweigh the Cons with the Firestone Transforce 2:

CONS:
- No limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- A little noisy on the highway
SimpleTire’s view on Firestone Transforce AT2 tires
There’s really a lot to choose from when it comes to premium all-terrain tires, and they certainly are not all created equal. The Firestone Transforce AT2, on the other hand, has a next-generation design that delivers consistent, reliable traction in mud, snow, sand, gravel, and loose dirt, and is engineered for enhanced load capacity and long wear. The Transforce AT2 is a strong enough performer to be used on a variety of trucks equipped with four-wheel-drive, and it’s a tough enough tire to be suitable for commercial fleets. We think that speaks pretty highly of what kind of tire you can expect to get with the Firestone Transforce AT2.
Vehicles the Firestone Transforce AT2 is a good replacement tire for
While not used as original equipment, this Firestone tire is ideal for use on light trucks and SUVs. If you own a Chevrolet Silverado 2500, Dodge Durango, Ford F-150, GMC Yukon, Honda Ridgeline, Jeep Gladiator, Nissan Titan, RAM 3500, or Toyota Tundra, then the Transforce AT2 is a tire you might want to consider.

Firestone Transforce AT2 225/70R-19.5 Tires wonders terribly, loaded or unloaded. I have 6 of the tires on Ford F550, and a highway speeds they are not safe
Unfortunately I'm not very pleased with these tires. But before we go bashing them I'm pretty sure I chose poorly for my application. They are extremely hard to balance no one can get them right. I can't go over 60 miles an hour. If there a groove on the road it's off to the races. I'm mainly on the highway. I drive a 2018 3500 with about Average 5000 pounds in tools. I was looking for the weight capacity and all weather type tire. I have spent a small fortune on them and will have to replace them. Wet dry traction is great. If your a country type off road type they will probably be great.
I am a first time Transforce AT2 user but a previous multi-user of the Transforce AT and HT's on 3/4 ton trucks. These new tires are on a 1 ton GMC Duramax and so far the AT2's are what I expected from Firestone. Great tires at a great price. Most would expect noise from the deep tread but no such thing. The snow and ice were no match for the old Transforce tires and I am expecting the same or better with these newer AT2's. Will see if the AT2's can give me 80,000 or more miles like it's predecessor. Definitely recommend these tires.
Best tires i owned for my truck. This is my second pair, first pair i got 45,000 miles out of them.
I have had good luck with the trans force at 2 tires would recommend them to anyone
Excellent tire and a great price
