Delinte’s DS8 is an all-season tire that’s designed for muscle cars, performance cars, and SUVs/crossovers, but it’s more than just an ordinary all-season design. The Delinte DS8 delivers the best of both worlds, with the kind of cornering, road manners, steering response, and overall performance you’d expect with a summer or UHP tire, only with generous treadwear coverage and year-round traction. Forget about summer/UHP tires that you have to switch out for all-season tires when temperatures get cold – the Delinte DS8 has got you covered year-round and at a surprisingly affordable price.
But hey, don’t just take our word for it – let’s go in for a closer look with this Delinte DS8 review:
Features and Benefits
Here are just a few of the features and benefits that make the Delinte DS8 a strong performer and an excellent value:
- Robust tread blocks are designed for excellent handling, and great wet or dry-weather traction and are capable of handling the power and torque of today’s vehicles
- Available with H, V, W, and Y-speed ratings
- The innovative asymmetric tread pattern is loaded with circumferential grooves and angled tread slots that move water and slush from the tire’s contact patch to resist hydroplaning
- Tread pitch is randomized and computer-tuned to help keep road noise to a minimum
- Backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- Wide range of sizes up to 32” for various fitments and custom wheels
- A dense network of sipes with additional siping toward the inner shoulder, multiplying surface area and traction with hundreds of extra biting edges
- Tire footprint optimized for long, even wear, improved handling and braking performance
- Road hazard coverage available for select sizes
Pros and Cons
The Pro column definitely outweighs the Con column with the Delinte DS8:
PROS:
- Generous warranty coverage
- Stable and solid-feeling road manners and confident handling
- Short braking distances on wet or dry roads
- Looks great on a variety of vehicles
CONS:
- The tire should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions
- Some drivers report excessive noise on some road surfaces
- Fuel efficiency could be better
SimpleTire’s view on Delinte DS8 tires
Put simply, our honest opinion is that the Delinte DS8 is a tire that punches far above its weight class and price point. We’re impressed by the road feel and driver feedback that the DS8 offers, with cornering that’s neutral and easy to control right up to the limit. Ride quality is comfortable, if not exactly serene, and the DS8 offers a quiet ride on the highway. Steering response is razor-sharp even with bigger, heavier vehicles, but never to the point of being twitchy or overly sensitive. The DS8’s next-generation, advanced tread compound is designed for solid grip on pavement, but also long wear – the Delinte DS8 is covered by a 50,000 mile warranty. That’s excellent warranty coverage for a tire that’s this affordable. Braking performance is just as capable; the DS8 can be made to break traction with high-horsepower vehicles but is still easy to control in drifts.
Delinte engineered the DS8 to be compatible with staggered fitments (different tire sizes in front and rear), but for standard fitments, its asymmetric all-season tread is designed for ease of rotation, unlike some asymmetric designs. It’s also worth mentioning that this is a tire that just flat-out looks great on a variety of performance cars, a perfect complement to a car’s rakish styling.
Vehicles the Delinte DS8 is a good replacement tire for
The DS8 isn’t used as original equipment on any vehicle, but it’s still a good replacement tire for vehicles like the:
- Audi A4
- Acura TLX
- BMW 3 Series
- Chevrolet Camaro
- Dodge Charger
- Ford Mustang
- Genesis GV60
- Honda Civic
- Kia K5
- Nissan Maxima
- Subaru BRZ
- Toyota Supra
- Volkswagen Golf

There supper light compared to the other ones but great material haven't had a problem with them rides smooth on dropped trucks excellent tires
I've only had these tires for a little over a month, but I am very happy with them. There is some road noise, which was to be expected because my previous tires had a much wider sidewall. The ride is also more "sporty" so you feel the road more...also expected. However, neither of these things would shy me away from ever purchasing these tires again. My 2015 Dodge Charger corners with confidence, sticks to the road, and is more exciting to drive now than ever before. Highly recommend!
I have never bought this brand before but the 50K warranty and online reviews were the deciding factor. I ordered 4 295/35/24 Delinte DS8 tires and they arrived in 3 days!! I had them mounted and after 1,000 miles, I am impressed with the ride, lack of road noise and all weather handling (dry and wet). I would buy these tires again in a heartbeat. The online experience was great, the price per tire was great and delivery was 4 days less than what I was originally quoted!
This is a great set tires. I noticed that ride is smoother and less noise. They also look great. The whole process of ordering and the installment of the tires were out standing. I plan to follow this process for all of my vehicles. Thanks Simple, you're the BEST.
Tires are smooth, quiet, and comfortable. Seem a little beefier than the Toyos they replaced. Love them so far, about 300 miles on them so time will tell but they seem great.
Just plain ..... awesome!!!!
Like the look and tread. Great price.
I was very happy with the tires. The grip and performance of the tire was as advertised. I had this brand before and the tread life is also very good.
