SUVs and crossovers are everywhere. They’ve taken the place of sedans, station wagons, and even minivans as family-friendly, comfortable, and practical people haulers. Every new generation of SUVs is a little more sophisticated and refined than the one before, and tire manufacturers have to be able to design tires that can complement the power, handling, ride quality, road manners and overall driving dynamics of modern SUVs and crossovers.
The Delinte DH7 is a great example of that kind of tire. This is an all-season tire that delivers a quiet, comfortable ride that stays civilized and controlled on irregular surfaces, with great wet or dry traction, handling, braking, and control that are all precise and predictable, while also offering a long treadlife. In a segment of the market that’s flooded with all-season SUV tires, it can be hard to stand out by checking all those boxes, but the Delinte DH7 certainly does.
So what is it about the tire that makes it a standout performer in all-season SUV tires? Let’s go in for a closer look with this Delinte DH7 review:
Features and Benefits
Here are some of the features that make the Delinte DH7 such a great value and performer:
- Long-wearing silica-enhanced tread formulation delivers great traction in wet or dry weather
- Circumferential and angled grooves help disperse water and direct it behind the tire’s contact patch to resist hydroplaning
- Solid center rib boosts straight-line stability, road manners, steering response
- Tread pitch us randomized and computer tuned to help keep road noise down
- Large, rigid shoulder blocks enhance braking and cornering performance
- Casing designed for a forgiving ride
- 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
Pros and Cons
The Delinte DH7 is another tire where the pros definitely outweigh the cons:
PROS:
- Generous warranty coverage
- Ride quality is very accommodating and quiet
- Handling is stable, predictable, and precise on wet or dry pavement
- Wet or dry pavement traction is excellent
CONS:
- Should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions
- Will struggle when driven at higher speeds
- Fuel efficiency could be better
SimpleTire’s view on Delinte DH7 tires
In a crowded field of all-season tires for SUVs and crossover, the DH7 from Delinte is an excellent option. It’s affordable, it comes in a wide variety of sizes and speed ratings (T-, V-, W-, and H-speed ratings are available), and it’s covered by a 50,000 mile warranty – excellent coverage for a tire at this price point. Delinte put a lot of time and research into this tire’s noise/vibration/harshness properties for a ride that’s refined, silky-smooth and dead-quiet thanks to a tread pitch that’s randomized and computer-tuned to cancel certain frequencies and keep road noise down.
Handling is competent, stable, and capable unless you really lean in hard on corners – and let’s be honest, most crossovers and SUVs aren’t really designed for that kind of driving anyway. Steering feedback and road manners are similarly great, with good response to your steering inputs (without being too touchy or jittery). And no, the Delinte DH7 doesn’t really do well in heavier snow, but then again most all-season tires fall short when it comes to that kind of winter performance.
If you’re looking for a great affordable tire that can punch above its weight class in terms of performance and value, the Delinte DH7 is an excellent candidate. It’s a tire that’s just as much in its element for daily-driver duties around town or for stretched-out interstate runs and road trips.
Vehicles the Delinte DH7 is a good replacement tire for

3 SimpleTire reviews
This tire is the best set that I have ever owned, purchased first set from another vendor, and then when I learned of SimpleTire then I purchased my second set. I now need another set of tires for one of my cars and SimpleTire, here I come again for another set!!
I've put on about 4K miles, commuting, highway and city. We like the tires and loves the price. Quickly shipped, no issues. As long as tires hold up another 30k they seem to be good buy.
