These Conti Winter Contact SI are amazing. On a given surface I feel I can accelerate near as well or as well as a 4WD but I am quite positive I am much safer at speed and can stop better than any 4WD. The Contis accomplish all this while running silent on the road. They are quieter than the tires that came on my new Pacifica. I can't say enough about these tires !

These new Conti WinterContact SI tires are fabulous in my experience coming from the previous generation of Conti WinterContact tires which were exceptional. That's a huge endorsement as the SI works even better on snow, ice and wet roads than the previous generation. It's no surprise that independent technical reviews of the latest and greatest SI Conti's outranks the competition on all fronts. These tires really are that good. There is nothing more valuable than your life and that is precisely why people should install four Conti WinterContact SI tires on their vehicles regardless of make or model. Most people don't understand that All-Wheel drive might get a vehicle moving but only good snow tires will allow the vehicle to stop or turn properly on slippery surfaces. If you have ever heard "singing in the rain" you will get it with these tires. Great handling and traction but they like to sing on the highway.
