The world’s largest tire manufacturer, Bridgestone was founded in 1931 in Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan. Known for its impeccable reliability, Bridgestone is among the top choices as OE tires for auto manufacturers. An all-season tire, the Dueler H/T 684 II is a great choice for drivers of light trucks and SUVs thanks to its great performance around the year.
Whether it’s high-speed stability, handling on dry and wet, cornering, comfort, longevity, or noise level, the Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684 II seems to be spot on compared to its rivals. Available in 18 to 22 inch sizes, the Dueler H/T 684 II comes with a 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty. The tire promises a lot in terms of performance, so let’s check out the Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684 II review to know whether it actually delivers on the promises made.
Features and Benefits
All-season tires are engineered to provide superb grip in dry, wet, and light winter conditions on paved roads. The Dueler H/T 684 II claims to do all of that; let’s find out how it does that.
- Impressive traction – The tire provides superb traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions thanks to its groove notches and straight grooves which quickly channel water and slush out from the surface to avoid the risk of hydroplaning. The mix of sipes and grooves improves the gripping capability of the tread in dry and wet conditions.
- Great comfort, quiet cabin – For a quiet ride, the Dueler H/T 684 II features variable pitch tread sequencing which cuts noise to a great extent while the rounded casing profile ensures a smooth ride. The tread perfectly interlocks with the surface at high speeds and reduces the chances of noise escaping the contact patch area.
- Excellent fuel efficiency and tread - The tire not only offers great traction and grip on dry and wet surfaces, but it also keeps rolling resistance low. The low heat build-up at high speeds results in lower fuel consumption and higher fuel efficiency. Additionally, solid shoulder ribs and a special silica ensure the tread wear is highly optimized resulting in longer tire life.

Put these on my Lincoln Navigator. They ride nice and quiet and seem to handle well. So far so good!
When (4) tires were installed they were shipped in 3 different shipments. The tires went to a local installer that took the entire day to complete installation. The tire changing equipment at the shop wasn't operating (out of service) so they had to take the wheels to a different shop to complete the job. Currently the tires make a road noise that wasn't previously there. I think one of the tires wasn't balanced. I need to take my vehicle back to have issue checked out.
Wasn't happy with this tires. Would never buy them again
Delivery was great. Many dealer want to charge $25 a tire to mount and balance. Still a better way to go
You'll be lucky to get 20k miles out of these
These tires have been a great value. They ride comfortably and the noise is very low. The handling has been very good.
