Over the years, Arroyo has manufactured tires for light trucks, buses, SUVs, CUVs, and passenger cars. The tread design of the Grand Sport 2 enhances handling and braking while offering consistent year-round drives in different weather conditions. The tire's unique tread pattern improves braking on dry, wet, and light snow. While it is manufactured with high-strength materials to boost durability, its optimized design reduces road noises and makes your ride quiet and comfortable. It is backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
So, is it worth going for? Let's try to answer in this Arroyo Grand Sport 2 review.
Features and Benefits
All-season tires are meant for year-round use and offer the right mix of traction, handling, and durability. These tires deliver consistent grip and performance in dry, wet, and light wintry conditions. The Arroyo Grand Sport 2 is an affordable all-season tire for passenger vehicles like sedans, coupes, and minivans.
- Year-round traction: With its asymmetric tread design and all-season tread compound, the tire offers adequate grip and traction around the year. While the multiple sipes offer extra biting edges to boost grip, its circumferential grooves clear water quickly to avoid the risk of hydroplaning.
- Solid handling and stability: The Grand Sport 2 enjoys enhanced road contact due to its unique tread design and special silica compound. The center rib maintains consistent road contact, which improves driving stability and steering response. The notch and siping pattern generate friction instantly while braking to reduce the braking distance.
- Long-lasting: While its wear-resistant compound and asymmetric tread design boost durability, the optimized driving pressure distribution avoids irregular wear. The solid shoulders not only ensure improved stability but also even wear.
