Get technical:
The Armstrong Ski-Trac PC is a winter tire for sedans, coupes, minivans, and crossovers, and offers drivers a improved winter performance plus great handling and control.
Features & Benefits
- Winter tread; should not be used when temperatures are consistently above 45 degrees Fahrenheit
- Black sidewall
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake rated for severe winter service
- Specialized winter tread formulation for consistent traction and performance
- Four wide grooves drain water out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet roads
Armstrong designed the Ski-Trac PC for winter performance for sedans, minivans, and crossovers; it features a studless winter tread with a combination of grid-shaped and circumferential grooves for grip and control. Its winter tread compound stays flexible for traction in subfreezing weather, and the Ski-Trac PC's optimized 3D sipes multiply the tread's surface area with hundreds of extra biting edges to slice through snow and slush. Like all winter tires, the Ski-Trac PC is not designed for warmer weather and should not be used if temperatures are above 40-45 degrees F.
